Bridesmaid Dress Color Ideas for Your 2015 Wedding

The bridesmaids appear in all the colors, shapes and sizes. Not all the colors suit each and some shapes appear better in the particular fashions of dress.

considering blue bridesmaid dresses
The blondes and brunettes can put on the most shades of blue. The Redheads appear the best in deeper shades with a clue of green. The dark skinned bridesmaid would move for more purple blue shade. However, it is not too dark.

Almost everybody appears a good one in deep purple or lavender. Redheads along with the skinned bridesmaid must go for the most powerful shades for purple.

bridesmaid dresses in pink and red
The blonde and fair skinned loveliness appear good in pastel pink shades. The brunettes would go for a deeper red, magenta or cerise dress. The redheads appear the best ones in extremely pale pink. The dark skinned ladies appear wonderful in powerful pinks and reds.

considering the orange and yellow bridesmaid dresses
The color, yellow is actually a hard color for the bridesmaid. If there is the selected theme, it is to look for very pale golden yellow or deeper gold. Similarly, orange can bring all skin tones that look discolored or sallow. It is to choose the richer bronze end of the carroty range and soften with a cream trim or lace at the neckline. On the other hand, it is to select peach shades for brown bridesmaids.

Bridesmaid Dresses Ideas for Fuchsia Wedding Palettes

When it comes to pink, you don't get much bolder than fuchsia. While there's nothing subtle about it, fuchsia works surprisingly well for any season, plays nice with lots of other colors, and is sure to turn a head or two.

1. Cobalt blue is an equally bold shade that pairs beautifully with fuchsia. Adding lots of crisp white to the palette helps give it a clean, crisp feel.

How to Handle the Potential Bridesmaid Dilemmas

I found two sensitive scenarios that may cause a rift between two friends or family members, as well as etiquette expert-approved solutions.

Potential Bridesmaid Dilemmas
Potential Bridesmaid Dilemmas
1. I have been asked by my good friend to be one of her bridesmaids. I'm overweight, and my mother thinks that unless I decide to lose some weight, I should decline.
It goes without saying that friends' looks (or pregnancy, disability, height, etc.) are not the criteria for selection of a bridesmaid. Unless you personally feel uncomfortable taking on the role, you may accept with love and happiness. For brides who have friends or relatives who decline because they aren't comfortable in the role of attendant, be understanding. You must respect their decision not to accept.

2. I asked my best friend from college to be my matron of honor for my same-sex ceremony. She said yes and has been supportive, but I can tell she's uncomfortable with the idea of my marriage. Should I let her off the hook?
You need to talk openly with your friend. Let her know that you sense her discomfort, but don't say anything that implies prejudice on her part. She may have a problem you don't know about, such as difficulty with her family, financial constraints with the bridesmaid dress, or simply nerves at being in the ceremony. Whatever the issue, tell her the role is her choice and that you won't be offended if she drops out.

Bridesmaids Tips for Rainy Day Wedding

Here is the thing about weddings, no matter how much you plan, how much everything is promised to go on without a hitch, something always does. The weather is something you cannot control (unfortunately).

Bridesmaids Tips for Rainy Day Wedding
Bridesmaids Tips for Rainy Day Wedding
1. Remind the couple or the bride to pay attention to the forecast a week before the wedding. If the  the forecast is predicting rain, help the brides to buy umbrellas and rubber boots as bridal party gifts. Even if it doesn't rain, it's a gift you know they will use again!  And if it does rain, how cute would it look to incorporate umbrellas into  your wedding photos?

2. Nobody really wants it to rain on their wedding day, as a bridesmaid, you should tell a couple (or just the bride for that matter) that rain on her wedding day is good luck and don't upset.

3. If the wedding has an outdoor ceremony, suggest the bride to prepare for a Plan B. Talk to the photographer and the wedding venue about alternatives should it rain on the day of the wedding. I am  sure they have been through this before and know what to do. For the venue, see if they are willing to have a tent put up (just in case) or are able to move the wedding indoors with an equally beautiful wedding.

4. Well, if the bride is a Trash the Dress Bride, tell her is her chance to enjoy trashing your dress! If she had plans to trash the dress after the wedding,  use the rain as the helper, and bring the photographer along with you!

3. If you've got a 30 year old, a 14 year old and a 5 year old bridesmaid, you're never going to find a dress that they can all wear. So bridesmaids dresses definitely don't have to all be the same. You could go for the same colour but different styles, or the same styles and different colours.

5. If you've got a mixture of adult and child bridesmaids, it's worth finding somewhere that does both adult and child dresses in specific colours, so that the dresses will be suitable for each girl but will still match. The final tip for choosing dresses for bridesmaids with an age gap is to look for them in bridesmaid dresses online shop. That way, there's so much more choice than you could possibly see in any shop.
